Slagen med remsorna sammanbinder flätan, inslag och varp i väven förenade med bommens slag. Tråd binder tråd som binder tråd. . . . Inte alla slag är lika vackra. Några till och med dåliga, men i en väv går det inte att klippa bort den dåliga biten och glömma bort att den överhuvudtaget funnits där. Tomrummet av det som tagits bort äter sig fram även till de slag som är perfekta. Det trasiga växer sig starkt. I textilens trådar behövs även det som inte är så bra. Kanske är det så i livet också i de strukturer, mönster och flöden vi lever i. Det dåliga får inte helt tas bort utan måste samsas med det perfekta. Ont hand i hand med det goda, kallt hand i hand med varmt. Hur kan du känna värme om du aldrig har varit frusen.
